Concrete Genie is a game that the player plays as a boy named Ash that has a special magical brush that he can bring his paintings to life. The player can easily paint things on the wall effortlessly and enjoy their artworks everywhere.
The player can also create genies, which lives in the wall and are able to help Ash to overcome some obstacles sometimes. Genies could also interact with Ash and bring laughs and joys.
I worked on this game when I was an intern at Sony PlayStation for six months. My role was mainly game and level design, constructing puzzles and levels.
I usually designed numerous puzzles on the papers first and then picked the potential ones with my colleagues. Then I prototyped them into the game to see how it feels, tested what the gameplay experience would be like, and also the the iteration.
